In the 2000s, wrestling was beginning to change, as physique and looks were no longer a primary requirement for success in wrestling, and in-ring skills were slowly coming to the forefront. However, this did not mean that there were no wrestlers with amazing physiques in the industry.
Around the world, there were several wrestlers with outstanding physiques in the 2000s, so it’s very difficult to narrow it down to ten. Being as objective as possible, let’s take a look at wrestlers from the 2000s with the best physiques.
10 Shelton Benjamin
Shelton Benjamin had a tremendous physique in the 2000s, as he had a toned body, with muscles in his legs, abs, chest, arms, back and shoulders. His physique allowed him to have extraordinary strength, but most impressive of all was his athleticism, as he could perform insane stunts. Benjamin took full advantage of his physique to steal the show in the ring. Unfortunately, he never received a big push and went down in history as one of the best wrestlers to never win a WWE World Title.
9 Eddie Guerrero
Eddie Guerrero sadly passed away in 2005, but he left an indelible mark on the wrestling industry and is fondly remembered by millions of fans. In addition to his charisma, his unique persona, and his excellent in-ring skills, Guerrero had an amazing physique. He was short, standing just 5′ 8″, but he had big muscles, especially big biceps and shoulders that gave him a strength typical of a powerhouse wrestler.
8 Batista
Batista was definitely one of the wrestlers with the best physiques of the 2000s, at least in terms of torso. Biceps, triceps, chest, back, shoulders, abs… Batista had an absolutely awesome torso.
His physique allowed him to have outstanding powerhouse skills, not to mention that he was very intense in the ring. Fans loved his powerful style and that’s why he was so over in the Ruthless Aggression Era.
7 Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar is one of the most intimidating wrestlers of all time, and that’s precisely because he’s always had an imposing physique, especially in the 2000s. We’re talking about a tall blond guy with big muscles and a face that was both attractive and terrifying at the same time. Lesnar’s physique was incredible, and on top of that, he had the attitude of a beast who wanted to annihilate his opponents. With that said, it’s no wonder Lesnar made such an impact from his WWE debut.
6 John Cena
Considering his bodybuilding background, it’s no wonder that John Cena was one of the best-looking wrestlers in the 2000s. He had huge muscles, especially his arms were impressive, and his shoulders and trapezius were also amazing. With his incredible physique and babyface aura, Cena became a superhero of sorts, defeating the heels, being a role model and becoming not only the face of the WWE, but a wrestling icon.
5 Randy Orton
Randy Orton didn’t have big muscles in the 2000s, but he had a toned body, with great abs. Plus, he was a stud, definitely one of the best-looking wrestlers of the decade. In addition to his amazing physique, Orton had that youthful spark and rebellious attitude that made fans connect with him. He was always destined to become an all-time great and, indeed, he did.
4 The Rock
The Rock has one of the best physiques in WWE history, but that’s not all, he has been ranked by several popular magazines and polls as one of the best-looking men of all time.
With that said, this list wouldn’t be complete without The Rock, although certainly when he was with WWE in the 2000s, he didn’t have his physique as perfected as it is in the 2010s. However, beyond his looks, everyone knows that The Rock succeeded in wrestling because of his unique character and his incredible charisma.
3 Triple H
Triple H had arguably one of the best physiques in wrestling in the 2000s. Abs, chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders, trapezius, back and even legs, HHH had great muscles all over his body. Plus, admittedly, he was a beautiful guy, so he could hardly have had a better physique. His looks were an important part of his success, but he would never have become a wrestling legend without his outstanding in-ring skills and excellent mic skills.
2 Bobby Lashley
Bobby Lashley has always had an incredible physique. It seems like since he was a kid he already had big muscles. We’re talking about a guy who came into the wrestling industry in 2005 looking like a world champion, and almost 20 years later, he looks even better. Lashley had one of the best physiques in wrestling in the 2000s, and he’d probably be on a 2010s or 2020s list as well.
1 Scott Steiner
In the 2000s, Scott Steiner exhibited his tremendous physique in WCW, WWE, TNA, among other promotions. His physique was unbelievable, his body was practically perfect. Huge biceps, outstanding chest and remarkable abs, he was insane. It was precisely because of his looks that Steiner got over, although WWE ended up wasting his talent. At least he later had some good moments in TNA. No matter what promotion Steiner was in, he always excelled because of his physique.
