WrestleMania is the biggest premium live event on WWE’s calendar, and many wrestlers love to feature in the main event of WrestleMania. However, there have been some glaring omissions from wrestlers who have failed to headline WrestleMania. The likes of Ric Flair, Rey Mysterio, Booker T, and CM Punk are just a few to name that have never closed out WrestleMania.

The rivalry between Lawrence Taylor and Bam Bam Bigelow began at the 1995 Royal Rumble when they had a showdown. Surprisingly, their match headlined WrestleMania 11 instead of Diesel and Shawn Michaels’ WWE Championship match.

Bigelow deserves a lot of credit for carrying Taylor through this match. Taylor wasn’t a trained in-ring competitor and he did his best and he had some football players in his corner. Taylor prevailed, but it wasn’t a match worthy.

That never happened for Sid as both of his WrestleMania main event appearances were stinkers. He lost to Hogan at WrestleMania 8, and his second WWE Championship reign was curtailed by The Undertaker at WrestleMania 13.
