Extraordinary You actor Rowoon who made his debut in the Korean music and film industry in 2016, through the K-pop group, SF9 has now officially exited the group to focus on individual activities including acting. Actor and idol, Rowoon shared a heartfelt note for his fans as he apologized.
Rowoon Exits K-pop Group “SF9”
As per a Soompi report, SF9 group’s agency FNC Entertainment shared a statement and announced Rowoon’s exit from the K-pop group. Sharing the announcement the company said that Rowoon who made his debut in 2016 with the group SF9 has been a part of the agency and the K-pop group for “seven years”.

And after reaching the contract’s expiration date on September 18, 2023, all the members except Rowoon have renewed their contract with the agency. The agency then further stated that the Extraordinary You actor, Rowoon will now focus on individual activities including acting.

Later actor and idol, Rowoon also shared a handwritten note for his fans on SF9’s fancafe. Rowoon apologized to his fans and said that he is grateful for all the love and support he has received over the past 7 years while he was in the group, SF9. He further added that now he had turned 27 and wanted to take on a new challenge in his life therefore he would be grateful to continue receiving love and support from his fans.

Rowoon made his debut in the industry as an idol in the K-pop group SF9. He then took up various popular and hit Korean dramas like Extraordinary You, The King’s Affection, Destined With You, Tomorrow, School 2017, Where Stars Land, About Time and others. He will now be seen in romantic-comedy drama, Wedding Match.
