Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have finalized their divorce proceedings, marking the end of their marriage. According to a report by Page Six, both parties have come to an amicable settlement following Ariana’s divorce filing on September 18, with Dalton responding promptly.
A source quoted in the Page Six report stated, “Ariana and Dalton really wanted to take care of each other through all of this and make it as easy on one another as possible — which is why they really took their time with everything.” The agreement, mutually beneficial to both, has been officially filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court. Ariana and Dalton tied the knot in May 2021 in a private ceremony at her Montecito home.
In recent weeks, Ariana had been linked with her “Wicked” co-star Ethan Slater, and shortly thereafter, both Ariana and Ethan filed for divorce from their respective partners. Ethan initiated divorce proceedings from his wife, Lilly Jay, while Ariana separated from Dalton Gomez. Notably, Ariana removed her wedding photos from Instagram, which she had posted in 2021.
Trouble in the marriage had been speculated as early as July when Ariana was seen without her wedding ring at the Wimbledon men’s singles final. This sparked rumors about difficulties in her relationship with Dalton, especially after photos showed her sitting between actors Andrew Garfield and Jonathan Bailey.
In the meantime, Ariana entered a romantic relationship with Ethan during the filming of their upcoming movie, “Wicked.” Those with inside knowledge of the production on the film even disclosed that Lilly Jay and their child paid a visit to the “Wicked” set, during which Ariana appeared to spend time with the couple. Sources in proximity to Lilly conveyed that she was deeply saddened upon learning about Ethan’s new relationship, feeling as though he had forsaken their family.
