Christopher McQuarrie says preparing for the climax scene gave Tom Cruise anxiety

Mission: Impossible- Dead Reckoning Part One is receiving favorable reviews from critics and audiences. Unlike most other franchise sequels, it didn’t end on a cliffhanger and the reason is Tom Cruise.

According to the film’s director, Christopher McQuarrie, it was Tom Cruise who suggested ending the film in a way that would keep viewers looking forward to the eighth installment. Additionally, Cruise wanted the story to satisfy the audience.

When it comes to action movies, Tom Cruise has stood out, especially in the “Mission: Impossible” series. According to Christopher McQuarrie, the parting scene between Ethan and Grace in “Mission: Impossible 7” was filmed two years before filming began, and Cruise had to wear a wig to hide the new hairstyle from the eighth movie.

Addressing the climax, McQuarrie said that it had been planned for a long time and that Tom had to stay up all night while filming to keep coming up with new ideas.

“Mission: Impossible 8” is one of the movies and TV shows that have been affected by the WGA Strike. Christopher McQuarrie appears to have been forced to stop writing the script due to the WGA strike, though nothing has been officially announced by the producers yet.
