Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently opened up about his personal life and revealed some of the most moving truths. The Black Adam actor spoke candidly about his struggle with the blues during a recent visit to The Pivot podcast.
The actor insisted that his first experiences with depression began when he was a student at the University of Miami and was unable to participate in soccer practice due to a shoulder injury, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He said he didn’t want to go to school. He was ready to go. He left school. He didn’t take any midterms, and he just walked out. But the interesting thing that he felt at that moment was that he just didn’t know what he was. He further said that he did not know what mental health and depression were. He just knew that he did not want to be there and that he would not attend any team meetings or participate in any activities.
Explaining that he couldn’t exercise due to his injury, which made matters worse because he was an athlete.
He further explained that years later, when he went through it again when he got divorced, he didn’t know what it was. Years later, around 2017, she or she wants to hang out.
