Imagine Dragons singer Dan Reynolds’ wife, singer Aja Volman, has officially filed for divorce after 10 years of marriage and a year since their separation was announced. Since the news of her divorce broke, netizens have speculated that it was because of her recent affair with Minka Kelly.
On Tuesday, April 18, Aja in Los Angeles filed for divorce, about a year after they went public with their separation. After the couple split in September, Reynolds was rumored to have started dating actress Minka Kelly.
The singer tweeted: “After 7 beautiful years together, Aja and I’s marriage has come to an end. Our children continue to be the most important thing in our lives, and we will continue to raise them with all our love. I ask that you respect our privacy at this time as we work through this as a family.”
Reynolds and Volkman reportedly previously decided to divorce in 2018, but moderated it a year later. Ever since the news of their split broke, netizens have been supporting Aja and trolling Reynolds.
A few hours ago, Aja Volman shared a selfie photo and captioned it 04/18/23. Fans reacted to her post calling her the bravest woman in the world. One fan wrote: “I wish you all the best ahead Aha…for me you are always the great mother and wife…a great loss for a person who doesn’t appreciate all your sacrifice and love.” Another fan wrote: “The bravest woman in the world wishing the best and brightest days of your life ahead.” One more fan wrote: “I imagine this is one of the most difficult experiences ever, but you are a strong woman, this too shall pass.”
Meanwhile, Reynolds and Kelly’s romance allegations began in November 2022, and the two were soon seen engaging in PDA on various dates.
