When asked by host Ellen DeGeneres about rumors that he had hurt himself while filming, Momoa confirmed that he sustained quite a few injuries, telling her, “I’m getting old.” She explained: “I messed up my eyes. I just had something that cut it a little bit, and then I have to have surgery, I have a hernia, I have broken ribs. They’re beating me up,” Momoa continued, before reassuring viewers: “It’s going to be a great movie, they’re going to love it.”

Meanwhile, when asked by DeGeneres if she could see with her scratched cornea, Momoa replied: “Yeah, yeah, look at me. I can see very well,” telling the host, “I’m ready to go!” Mentioning Momoa’s other past injuries, including a broken femur and a scarring facial injury, DeGeneres, 63, said: “It’s a tough job you’ve got out there. Every movie you’re in, you’re hurting yourself.” However, Momoa didn’t have much of an excuse, but she replied, “I just give it, yeah. I love my job and I get so excited, then age, you know, I’m an aging superhero right now.”
Aquaman star Jason Momoa has been filming the second installment in the Aquaman franchise since this summer, when he first arrived in London to kick off production on the sequel. Meanwhile, he revealed that he was going to go blonde for the film in July. “This is the last day of brown. I’m going to be blonde,” he shared in a video posted to Instagram. “They are supposed to have more fun. I don’t know anything about that, we’ll try it.”
