Kevin Spacey Not Found Guilty In Sexual Charges Leveled Against Him

Actor Kevin Spacey has been cleared in all nine sexual charges by UK court on Wednesday. The 64-year-old Oscar-winning actor, Kevin Spacey, was visibly emotional as he was acquitted of sexual*ly assaulting four men after a four-week trial at Southwark Crown Court.

Dressed in a dark suit, pink shirt, and adorned with a burgundy pocket square and tie, Spacey glanced at his legal team as the jury found him not guilty on nine se*ual offense charges involving four individuals.

As he stood in the dock, on what happened to be his 64th birthday, the Hollywood star placed his hand on his chest, gazed at the jurors, and silently mouthed words of gratitude, saying, “Thank you, thank you,” as reported by The Guardian.

Leaving the court Kevin, the actor thanked the jury, “I imagine that many of you can understand that there’s a lot for me to process after what has just happened today,” he said. “But I would like to say that I’m enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts, carefully, before they reached their decision. And I am humbled by the outcome today.

“I also want to thank the staff inside this courthouse, the security, and all those who took care of us every single day, my legal team … for being here every day.”

Spacey was accused of nine charges, which included multiple counts of se*ual assault and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. The jurors took 12.5 hours over three days to reach their verdict.

For Spacey, the London case was seen as an opportunity for redemption. In an interview with German magazine Zeit last month, he expressed that there were people who would be willing to hire him once he was cleared of these charges in London.
