However, North was patiently waiting for the singer to turn towards her so she could be captured in a photo. Unfortunately, when Beyoncé finally turned towards North, Kim was engrossed in a conversation with Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z. North’s exasperation was captured on camera, and the video quickly circulated on social media.

As soon as the video went online, it went viral, and netizens started to comment. One user wrote, “If she’s anything like her Daddy, she will be mad at Kim for the rest of the year.” Another user wrote, “She better have taken that baby backstage to meet her because I would’ve been pissed too, lol.” The third user suggested, “Kim should have kept it on record and then later screenshot the video at the point when they were facing in the same direction. Or she could have kept tapping the white circle while recording (iPhone) to capture. It works every time.”
