In a dramatic turn of events, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s contentious divorce case took an unexpected twist during a recent hearing, which was conducted via Zoom. The Don’t Be Tardy star failed to appear at the virtual session, leading to a stern response from the Fulton County Superior Court Judge Shermela J. Williams, reported by ETonline.
All parties involved, except for Zolciak, were present for the hearing. When the judge inquired about her absence, Zolciak’s lawyer, David Beaudry, explained that she couldn’t attend because she was on a flight returning from Colombia, where she was filming for the MTV reality series, The Surreal Life.
Beaudry mentioned that Zolciak was expected to land in Atlanta around 9 p.m. local time. However, his apology did not appease the judge’s frustration. Judge Williams firmly reminded Beaudry that she had not excused Zolciak’s absence, emphasizing, “her presence was not waived for today, so she is supposed to be here. I did not waive her presence.”
The tense moment led to a brief pause in proceedings. When the judge resumed, still visibly irritated, she announced her decision to reset the hearing and eliminate the option of a Zoom appearance. Going forward, she asserted that all parties involved in the case would be required to appear in person in her courtroom. This announcement left all participants in the Zoom call visibly disappointed.
The divorce saga between Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann continues to generate significant attention as it unfolds in the public eye.
