Secret Invasion is the first MCU Phase 5 show to be released on Disney Plus. With no exact release date being given for the series premiere, we only know that the show could launch in March or May, as the Spring 2023 timeline suggests.
The new series reintroduces Nick Fury after his four-year absence, based on the comic the story follows the invasion of Earth by Skrulls, a species of shapeshifters who disguise themselves as Superheroes. The series also features newcomer Marvel actors Emelia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Kingsley Ben-Adir alongside veterans Don Cheadle, Colbie Smulders, Martin Freeman, and Ben Mendelsohn.

Since the release schedule is until spring 2023, we can say that the series could air anywhere in March, May or mid-June, the series went through a series of reshoots that lasted about 4 months, which is not common for an MCU movie or series. Knowing this, we can say that this could be why the show will be released in late spring, as the reshoots require more production work to complete.

What to expect after the release of Secret Invasion
Even if an exact release date isn’t announced, the series will still be the first to kick off Marvel’s schedule, the same way MoonKnight and WandaVision did in 2023 and 2022 respectively.
Series like Echo and Agatha: Coven of Chaos will be released in 2023, but considering the delays, Loki season 2, Ironheart and Secret Invasion could be the series we get to see this year.
