In the case of Dune released in the year 2021, the ticket flow got influenced due to the simultaneous release in theatres and on HBO Max and therefore it couldn’t garner such an impressive amount at the box office. From Imax screens, it grossed $100 million in a weekend and became the seventh fastest film to run this benchmark.

Warner Bros and Legendary Entertainment produced Dune: Part Two cost $290 million which includes production and promotion ($100 million) cost. So Frank Herbert’s novel-based movie has retained its expenditure and soon will cross the $500 million mark.
