BTS’s new single ‘Take Two’ tops Billboard’s Global 200 chart

Global sensation BTS released Take Two on June 9 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut, which topped the US Billboard Global chart. Recently, it was reported that this week, ‘Take Two’ is dominating the Global 200 and Global Billboard excl. US.

From June 9 to 15, Take Two was streamed 60.2 million times worldwide and sold 64,000 copies. During the same time period, it was streamed 54.3 million times outside of the US and 48,000 digital copies were purchased. The leaderboards known as the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global (outside the US) for September 2020 do not contain traditional streaming scores, among other things. It is a highly regarded list among young listeners, who mostly access music through legitimate means.

With their 2020 mega-hit “Dynamite,” BTS became more widely known around the world. It was the group’s first song entirely in English and made them the first K-pop act to top Billboard’s Hot 100.

The band, which consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, is now on hiatus (as a whole), however they did work together to write this song.
