Celebrities and professional wrestling go together as well as a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. But celebrities in professional wrestling factions it’s next level most of the time. Not only do they agree to appear once or twice, but they also agree to represent possibly more, and more importantly, the brand in their professional and personal lives.

Having a celebrity appear on any big show certainly helps the bottom line, but having a major part of a faction gives a different level of notoriety to the celebrity, the company, and the faction as a whole.

10/10 The gang of crazy clowns

The Insane Clown Posse was a completely different kind of celebrity. If you know them, chances are you love them and are a Juggalo. Otherwise, you don’t know who they are. No one realized that Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope actually dabbled in wrestling training.

The Insane Clown Posse were such mega fans that they were actually part of not one but two stables, in WWE and WCW during The Monday Night Wars. In WWE, ICP was part of The Oddities stable until they turned their backs on the fun-loving monsters. When they went to WCW, they eventually joined Raven and Vampiro to form The Deadpool.

9/10 antonio ogogo

As an Olympic middleweight boxer, he racked up bronze in 2012 and has an overall record of 12 and 1. That’s an impressive feat, and Anthony Ogogo decided he would be the next one to try and take the wrestling industry by storm. He spent some time training with QT Marshall.

So naturally, when QT turned his back on The Nightmare Factory and formed his own stable, Ogogo was by his side during his feud with Cody Rhodes. In reality, he is one of, if not the first wrestler in development to have signed a contract with AEW. His most high-profile match to date was looking into the lights against Cody at Double or nothing 2021.

8/10 Quinton Rampage Jackson

As a former MMA fighter, Quinton Rampage Jackson made a respectable name for himself. He also tried his luck as an actor, playing BA Baracus on the big screen. A team adaptation.

He dove into the waters of sports entertainment when he came to TNA to save Kurt Angle from a beating of aces and eights. Because of his loyalty, he was offered a place in The Main Event Mafia.

During the 1990s, WCW tried its hand at all kinds of cross-promotions. That meant WCW’s purple and gold colors would appear on a NASCAR race car.

When the New World Order took over, blacks and whites even snagged their own NASCAR. The guy behind the wheel was Kyle Petty. He may not have wrestled, but he represented 4-Life in black and white.

6/10 Dennis Rodman

There have been many crossover basketball players who have entered the wrestling ring over the years. Kevin Nash, The Undertaker and more recently Omos and Satnam Singh have all left the floor for the wrestling ring. Dennis Rodman didn’t just make the transition from basketball player to professional wrestler when he was still an active ballplayer.

The Worm was also a member of the greatest basketball team of all time, the Chicago Bulls, and suffered heavy fines for skipping practices in the midst of his epic championship run. He would miss practice to hang out with Hollywood Hogan and the nWo.

5/10 Stephen Amell

The Green Arrow himself, Stephen Amell, is a huge fan of wrestling. Now the star of the wrestling drama, Heels, Amell manages to have his cake and eat it too. He gets to live out his wrestling dreams without taking anywhere near the punches he would actually take in wrestling.

But Amell has had some big games over the years, none as big as the first. all insiderepresenting The Bullet Club against Christopher Daniels.

4/10 Mike Tyson

In what was one of the quintessential moments in WWE history, Mike Tyson and Stone Cold had a huge matchup to start the build up to WrestleMania 14. While that match didn’t happen, Tyson, who was hired to be The Special Enforcer for the main event between Austin and Shawn Michaels.

During the match build, it would be revealed that Tyson had joined DX. While the big reveal didn’t hold up at the time, Mike rejoined the team when he came to Raw over a decade later to knock out Chris Jericho.

3/10 Steve McMichael

Shortly after making an appearance on wrestling 11, Steve McMichael chose to sign with WCW instead. He would spend the first few months of the promotion as a commentator for Nitro. He would eventually find himself in a tag team match alongside fellow football hero Kevin Green, facing off against Ric Flair and Arn Anderson.

During that game, Debra McMichael presented her husband with a Halliburton full of cash and a Horsemen jersey. The former Chicago Bear accepted the offer and found himself back in a winning dynasty.

2/10 paige vanzant

In her real-life profession as a 12-gauge MMA fighter, Paige VanZant actually represents the best team in America. She was just an extension of what she did outside of the ring when she also joined Dan Lambert in AEW.

He eventually made his in-ring debut as part of the tag team alongside Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky to take on Sammy Guevara, Frankie Kazarian in Double or nothing. It will be a unique experience to see how her career as a fighter progresses.

1/10 Andy Kaufman

Andy Kaufman’s war with Jerry Lawler is the biggest celebrity crossover appearance in history, even to this day. Kaufman misled everyone, and David Letterman was completely shocked by what happened on his show.

But what many fans don’t always remember is how Kaufman got to Memphis. The intergender wrestling champion had come to Memphis and Jimmy Hart was Andy’s manager, making him part of Hart’s First Family stable.
