Eva Mendes responds to Ryan Gosling wedding rumors

Eva Mendes recently sparked rumors that she secretly married her partner of 11 years, Ryan Gosling, when she shared a photo of her ‘gosling’ wrist tattoo. However, after all the speculation about the wedding, during a radio interview with The Kyle and Jackie O Show, she addressed all the rumors with a very cryptic response.

Mendes was asked: ‘There’s a rumor that you guys might have gotten married in secret. That’s right?’ In response, Eva said: ‘But who says we weren’t already?’ “I like to keep everything mysterious,” she added with a smile. The brunette beauty confirmed the tattoo is real after joking that it was a temporary ‘press’. Mendes continues: “I have a tattoo. No, it’s not a press. But I got it years ago. I posted a picture and I’ve gotten a lot of fun questions.”

Not a while ago, Eva brought social media to a crash when she shared a stunning snapshot of herself holding up her arm to show off the tattoo on the inside of her wrist. Many believe the body art is an indication that the notoriously private Eva married Ryan, whom she has been dating since 2011, as in Hispanic culture, married women often add their husband’s name to theirs using ‘de’ which means ‘of’ in English.

However, Eva has shown off the tattoo numerous times on social media, including back in September when she got her body inked in a gorgeous field of flowers. In September 2016, rumors swirled that the power couple had tied the knot in secret, as a source told Us Weekly at the time, that they had tied the knot quietly.

The source explained: ‘Eva and Ryan have always felt like a married couple. They are in love with each other. Eva and Ryan have two daughters, Esmeralda Amada, eight, and Amada Lee, six. The handsome duo began dating in September 2011 after working together on the movie The Place Beyond The Pines. The couple were friends for “a long time” before their romantic relationship.
