Pete Davidson will play himself in the comedy series “Raw”

Pete Davidson may only be 29, but the former Saturday Night Live star and perpetual tabloid obsession already has a comedy series based on his life. The first trailer for Bupkis, Peacock’s new half-hour series, is described as “a new comedy that follows Pete Davidson as he tries to navigate his way through unique family dynamics and the complexities of fame to build relationships.

The gritty, semi-autobiographical series stars Davidson, Edie Falco and Joe Pesci along with an all-star supporting cast in a show that embraces reality and absurdity to better represent what it’s like to be Pete Davidson.

In addition to bringing Pesci out of partial retirement, the show features a huge list of guest stars: La La Anthony, Colson Baker (Machine Gun Kelly), Steve Buscemi, Bobby Cannavale, and many others. Davidson returns as the host of SNL for the first time on May 6 to promote the show. Judah Miller (The King of Staten Island) is the showrunner. Executive producers include Dave Sirus, Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer and Erin David. All eight episodes of Bupkis premiered on May 4. (Hollywood Reporter)
