Taylor Swift teases more lyrics from ‘Midnights’

Before the release of the new album Midnights, Taylor Swift opens the curtain on the lyrics. The pop superstar took to social media, revealing, “Our last midnight before midnight,” along with a throwback 1970s promotional photo of Swift reclining on a couch in a wood-panelled room.

Midnights marks another phase in the singer-songwriter’s massive songwriting in recent years, where she has released four studio albums since Lover came out in August 2019. ‘Our last midnight before Midnights’ is a play on words. about the fact that this will be the last midnight. before the new album is released on Friday, October 21. In addition, Swift has also partnered with Spotify to help build buzz by releasing lyric snippets from Midnights.

The singer has been revealing random lyrics on billboards around the world lately, as reported by Billboard. The first letters began to appear in New York City’s Times Square on Monday, October 17. At the stroke of midnight, a huge vertical billboard at one end of the plaza lit up with the lyrics “I shouldn’t be left alone.” ‘The next slot was in London, England, with just a five word excerpt from his album, ‘I polish very well’.

In the latest reveals, a train station in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was lit up at midnight local time with bright purple letters and the lyrics: “Like a clock, the dominoes cascaded into a line”.
