What is the most extreme match you competed in?

Extreme matches are necessary in wrestling, especially those long fights that require a hard result, such as the Hell In A Cell match between Edge and Seth Rollins. However, we must admit that sometimes we see extreme stipulations when they are not really necessary.

Virtually all members of the WWE Roster have competed in tough matches, with brutal points, which require them to put their bodies on the line, enduring unimaginable amounts of pain. Even the women have stepped up, doing whatever it takes to entertain the fans. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the most extreme match of these 10 current WWE stars.

10 Liv Morgan: Vs. Ronda Rousey (Extreme Rules 2022)

Liv Morgan has been wrestling professionally since 2015, but it wasn’t until 2022 that she took part in truly extreme matches, taking on the biggest risks and obstacles of her career.

Liv had a couple of incredible spots in the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match which she won in 2022, but her most extreme match was precisely an Extreme Rules match against Ronda Rousey at extreme rules 2022. Morgan took a couple of nasty shots, not to mention some hard work from Rowdy.

Speaking of Ronda Rousey, the baddest woman on the planet had her most extreme match at WrestleMania 2022 Backlash. It was an I Quit match against Charlotte Flair. Rousey and Flair punished each other like it was a real fight, showing no mercy and trying their best.

The match had some brutal moments and both women endured a lot of pain, especially Charlotte. In the end, Ronda Rousey emerged victorious in this tough match and became the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

8 Roman Reigns: Vs. Brock Lesnar (SummerSlam 2022)

Roman Reigns has had several extreme matches throughout his career, such as the ambulance match against Braun Strowman, or the extreme rules match against AJ Styles, but perhaps his most extreme match was the Last Man Standing match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2022.

Getting into the ring with The Beast is already extreme, but this time, they pushed themselves to the limit, with forceful action and brutal points. Lesnar even used a tractor to flip the ring, which is one of the craziest places in both men’s careers.

7 Brock Lesnar: Vs. The Undertaker (No Mercy 2002)

The fight between Brock Lesnar and John Cena in extreme rules 2012 it was epic for the incredible amount of violence, probably the best Extreme Rules match of all time.

However, Lesnar had an even more extreme match when he entered Hell In A Cell with the Undertaker at no mercy 2002. It was a bloody war, both men showed a ruthless offensive, and therefore there were several brutal points.

6 Cody Rhodes: vs. Seth Rollins (Hell in a Cell 2022)

The most extreme match of Cody Rhodes’ career is undoubtedly the Hell In A Cell match against Seth Rollins. The reason is simple, Cody fought with a torn pectoral injury, something most fighters wouldn’t do.

To top it off, Rollins focused several of his attacks on Cody’s injured area, which was chilling. Still, The American Nightmare managed to put on an incredible show and defeat Rollins, in what was one of the most admirable performances in WWE history.

5 Bayley: Vs. Sasha Banks (Hell in a Cell 2021)

Bayley is not a fighter who gets into extreme matches often, so it was easy to pick the most extreme match of her career. She had a Hell In A Cell match against her former friend Sasha Banks.

The game turned out to be phenomenal, with a great story, good plays, violence, intensity, creative points and almost everything was great.

4 Bray Wyatt: Vs. Randy Orton (TLC 2020)

In Tables, Ladders And Chairs 2020, Bray Wyatt, or rather The Fiend, faced Randy Orton in a Firefly Inferno match. The Fiend and Orton wrestled while surrounded by fire, and just by looking you could feel the heat in the ring.

Both men risked their lives, of course, they had firefighting suits, but still, they carried out dangerous places. The Fiend literally went up in flames, and Orton hit an RKO despite the flames, which was insane. That was the most extreme match of Bray Wyatt’s career.

3 Randy Orton: Vs. Mick Foley (Kickback 2004)

This is not only the most extreme match of Randy Orton’s career, but probably the best match overall. Hardcore legend Mick Foley showed the young Orton just how painful wrestling can be, using different weapons such as a barbed wire bat, a wire-wrapped board, or a trash can.

Foley just showed no mercy to Orton, who took several gruesome blows. Somehow, Orton survived and proved to be a legend killer. It was an admirable job from both fighters, a great story that is worth watching over and over again.

2 Rhea Ripley: Vs. Raquel González (NXT)

During the New Year’s Evil edition of NXT, Rhea Ripley and Raquel González (now known as Raquel Rodríguez) collided in a Last Woman Standing match. It was a brutal fight, with creative sequences and hard moments.

Both women were willing to do whatever it took to win, and despite all the damage they had done to each other, they stayed on their feet. The ending was amazing as Raquel hit Rhea with her Texana Bomb across the stage and Nightmare couldn’t get to his feet.

1 Becky Lynch: Vs. Charlotte Flair (Evolution)

Becky Lynch had a brutal Hell In A Cell match against Sasha Banks, and she also had a tremendous Triple Threat Tables, Ladders, And Chairs match against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. Both matches could be considered the most extreme of Becky Lynch’s career, but perhaps the most extreme of all was the Last Woman Standing match against Charlotte Flair at Evolution.

We are talking about an intense battle that lasted almost half an hour, in which Becky and Charlotte put their soul and body into entertaining the fans. It was a great story executed almost perfectly.
