Will Smith mocks his infamous Oscar slap controversy

Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars, when the comedian made a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, has become the most shocking incident in Academy Awards history. Now, it looks like the 54-year-old actor is trying to put a comedic spin on this year’s incident.

Will Smith surprised everyone by sharing a new video on his social media accounts with social media user @missmoneyworking

In the video, Will is sitting on a sofa in the duo’s video, watching her explain on screen how you can ask anything you want, including a car, a pen, money and/or more, what she thinks of you and your intuition. . she will give you the answer. After she finished, he took her Oscar statuette, which he won in the Best Actor category for King Richard, from her and slowly brought it up into view. She made a curious face as if she was thinking of asking Oscar what he thinks of him after the slap, and started to say something just as the video ended.

For the inexperienced, Will Smith was banned from the Academy Awards for 10 years after the slap incident. And the actor also issued an apology to Chris Rock a day after the slap, calling his behavior “unacceptable and inexcusable.”

Then, four months later, he released a six-minute video further explaining his actions.

On the work front, Will Smith will next be seen in Netflix Original Film Bright 2 and Bad Boys 4.
