Did Taylor Swift Reveal the Name of Blake Lively-Ryan Reynolds’ Fourth Child?

Taylor Swift has recently released her tenth studio album, Midnights. Since its release, the album generated a stir on the Internet. Taylor has opened up about various incidents in her personal life on her latest album. However, fans have a theory about one of her songs from her Midnights. Fans think the singer has revealed the name of the soon-to-be-born child of her best friend Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds in a verse from her song ‘You’re On Your Own, Kid…’

Before the birth of the latest addition to Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, expected in February or March 2023, Twitter users with a specific name went crazy over the idea that the pop star had publicly revealed the name of the unborn baby. While the theory remains unconfirmed, the Swifties believe they’ve cracked an Easter egg that the Deadpool actor and his wife plan to name their little Daisy May.

The name was taken from Swift’s lyrics: “I see the great escape, see you later, Daisy May / I picked the petals, he don’t love me / Something different bloomed, writing in my room / I play my songs in the parking lot”. This comes two years after she shared Lively and Reynolds’ daughter’s name on her emotional track, Betty.

On the same album, Folklore, the 11-time Grammy winner also included the names of the couple’s other children, James and Inez, on the hit. At the time, he confirmed that he ‘named all the characters in this story after’ the ‘children of his friends’. Additionally, Swift gave fans a deeper insight into the meaning behind her song, which is told from a male perspective about a teenage boy trying to apologize to Betty, who she cheated on.

In the song, the singer said, “This is a song that I wrote from the perspective of a 17-year-old boy. And I’ve always loved that in music you can slip into different identities and you can sing from other people’s perspectives, and that’s what I did in this one.” Swift previously tried out for her friend’s oldest daughter on her single, Gorgeous, in 2017. The Cats actress and Lively have been friends since around 2015, so it’s no surprise that she’s paying tribute to the growing family of the actress.
