Tom Cruise has been at the top of the Hollywood film industry for more than four decades. And his last movie Top Gun: Maverick made him the highest-earning actor in Hollywood. Tom Cruise has earned more than $100 million for his latest film, according to a new report from Variety. Top Gun: Maverick is now Paramount’s highest-grossing film worldwide, grossing $1.2 billion worldwide and the first of Cruise’s films to surpass the $1 billion mark.

Top Gun: Maverick is also the 12th film in history to cross the $600 million mark at the domestic box office. Will Smith is the second highest paid actor with $35 million for his upcoming film Emancipation. Will Smith is the second highest earner, according to Variety. The actor signed on to star in the action thriller Emancipation for $35 million in June 2020. Apple won a bidding war for the distribution rights to the film which is being directed by Antoine Fuqua and principal photography began in New Orleans at the summer 2021. However, last May it was announced that the film’s release would be pushed back to 2023 due to production delays.

The third highest earner in the movies category is Leonardo DiCaprio, who earned $30 million for Martin Scorsese’s upcoming Killers of The Flower Moon and fourth is Brad Pitt, who is receiving $30 million for a Formula 1 drama yet. no title. Dwayne Johnson will receive 22.5 million dollars for his next film Black Adam, which is scheduled to be released on October 22 this year.
