WWE has invested a lot of time and effort into its women’s division over the past few years in order to make it one of the best in the world. This has led to signing some amazing stars from around the world and loading up the roster to be a truly competitive one that can offer a real range of matches inside the ring.

The roster has a real range of height, which is something that opens up different stories inside the ring. Some wrestlers are able to physically dominate, purely through their height alone, and that instantly allows certain talents the chance to stand out.

The presentation of women’s wrestling in WWE has improved drastically from how it was in the Attitude Era. Women’s wrestling was a laughing stock and women were treated like eye candy. Nevertheless, WWE’s main roster has a plethora of tall women’s wrestlers who are on the show. Furthermore, some of the tall female wrestlers that appear on Raw and SmackDown have tremendous athleticism and have competed in excellent wrestling matches. It’s no longer a surprise when women headline premium live events, Raw, and SmackDown. Of course, not every tall female performer is the finished article but they tower over their shorter counterparts.

Sonya Deville is one of the most unlikeable women’s wrestlers on WWE’s main roster. As Adam Pearce’s assistant on Raw and SmackDown, Deville has been a heel authority figure in days gone by. Nevertheless, Deville is an underrated in-ring competitor.

She’s fantastic on the mic, and Deville got her hands on some silverware in 2023. She clinched the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Chelsea Green. There’s never a good time to get an injury, but Deville tore her ACL during her WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship reign forcing her to relinquish her side of the title.

Chelsea Green is annoying, but fans want to see more of her. Green plays a “Karen” character where she’s entitled and wants things to go her way. Green captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Sonya Deville, but after Deville got injured, she refused to hand up the titles.

Green replaced Deville with Piper Niven as her new tag team partner. Green’s one of the tallest women on the main roster and she stands at 5’7.” Green recently turned 33, and she has time on her side to win a major singles championship.

Bianca Belair is another of WWE’s tallest female wrestlers, with the EST of WWE being able to stand above a lot of her competition. She is a fantastic wrestler who can bring a lot of power and strength to the ring, and her height certainly helps that fact.

However, she is also incredibly fast and agile as well, which is something that few people close to her height are able to bring to the ring, and that helps to make her one of the most fun wrestlers to watch inside the ring.

15 Rhea Ripley Is Currently On The Shelf With A Shoulder Injury

While Rhea Ripley is one of the tallest women on the WWE roster, it is actually a surprise to see her this low down the list. Inside the ring, the former Raw Women’s Champion always seems like one of the tallest people, but part of that is down to the boots she wears as well.

However, Ripley’s size has certainly helped her so far in WWE as she is often able to dominate a lot of the matches that she is in. It’s something that gives her an edge and has worked well with her physical in-ring style. Mami had a fantastic 2023 as she won the women’s Royal Rumble match, and she defeated Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39 Saturday which was renamed the Women’s World Championship in June 2023.

Ripley became the longest-reigning Women’s World Champion at 380 days, but unfortunately, she was forced to relinquish the championship on the April 15, 2024 episode of Raw as she sustained a shoulder injury that will keep her out of action for several months.

Kiana James isn’t just one of the tallest female wrestlers on the main roster, she’s one of the youngest. At 26, James will be looking to make an impact on Raw as she was drafted to the red brand from NXT on night one of the draft on SmackDown’s April 26, 2024 edition.

James has one championship to her resume so far and that’s the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. James and Fallon Henley were the penultimate titleholders until Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn ended their championship reign. Nevertheless, James has shown promise in NXT as she has gradually improved over the past couple of years.

Fyre and Isla Dawn’s NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship reign was curtailed by Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler in a title unification match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Fyre’s height has made her look dominant in the ring, and in her NXT UK days, she delivered some brilliant promos.

Piper Niven was initially introduced as Eva Marie’s sidekick. However, the Scot is a physically imposing wrestler, who has already found herself working well with top-tier level talents. Niven failed to take the Raw Women’s Championship away from Becky Lynch in a surprisingly good championship match at the 2022 Royal Rumble.

Niven has shown glimpses of what she has to offer, and it remains to be seen if WWE will pull the trigger on her or not. She came narrowly close to being crowned as the inaugural Queen’s Crown tournament but she came up short to Zelina Vega. Niven also held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Chelsea Green.

Stark spending some time with Trish was brilliant for Stark as she was under the tutelage of someone who had tons of experience. Stark branched out on her own after she attacked Trish at Payback. Stark has been teaming up with Shayna Baszler, and she unsuccessfully challenged Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at Survivor Series.

Dupri can speak on the mic, and there’s room for improvement if she decides to wrestle more often. Dupri is one of the tallest women on the roster, and she has proven that she can be entertaining by spending time with Alpha Academy.

Hit Row returned to WWE in August 2022, and a year later they haven’t done anything meaningful. B-Fab is one of the tallest women in the company as she stands at 5 feet 9 inches. B-Fab is good on the mic, but her in-ring skills are not up to scratch.

She wrestled sporadically and competed in the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble match but was a victim of the eventual winner Rhea Ripley. With Top Dolla getting released in 2023, Hit Row was struggling, and B-Fab has been given another chance to excel by joining Bobby Lashley’s Pride stable alongside The Street Profits.

6 Indi Hartwell Has A Lot Of Potential To Fulfill

3 Jade Cargill Is Bringing The IT Factor

Her physique makes her look that much taller, but even at 5 feet 10 inches, Jade is still a tall powerhouse who will soon leave her mark in WWE. Cargill made her in-ring WrestleMania debut appearance at WrestleMania 40 Saturday alongside Naomi and Bianca Belair in a winning effort against Damage CTRL’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) and Dakota Kai.

2 The Irresistible Force Has Been Dominant Since Returning To WWE

It was a surprise when Nia Jax was released from WWE in 2021 considering she is a member of the Anoa’i Family. Nevertheless, the Irresistible Force made a one-time appearance in the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble match, but she made a full-time return to WWE in the fall of 2023 and she’s one of the most hated female wrestlers on the main roster.

Jax looks dominant in the ring as she stands at 6 feet inches tall, and she packs a punch. A former Women’s Champion in her own right, Jax scored a huge victory over Becky Lynch on the first episode of Raw in January 2024. Jax will be looking to be in the hunt to add to her tally of Women’s Championship reigns in 2024.

For the first time since the brand split was re-introduced in 2016, Jax has become a member of SmackDown for the first time as a result of getting drafted.

1 Raquel Rodriguez Towers Over Her Opponents

“Big Mami Cool” Raquel Rodriguez has the look to become a multiple-time WWE Women’s Champion in WWE. Raquel was known as Raquel Gonzalez in NXT but as soon as she moved up to SmackDown, she was rechristened as Raquel Rodriguez.

For a woman of her height, Raquel has proven that she can have fantastic matches. Raquel is hitting the peak of her career, and she will be hoping the emulate the likes of Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch who all had success from moving from NXT to the main roster. Raquel has won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship three times but she would like to win the WWE Women’s Championship or the Women’s World Championship in the future.

Unfortunately, Raquel announced in January 2024 that she is suffering from Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). She returned to action briefly in February and competed in the women’s Elimination Chamber match in Australia, but she had a flare-up and she’s currently inactive.
