In 2022, Lady Gaga has been confirmed to star opposite Joaquin Phoenix and play a pivotal role in the sequel. To keep in mind, Joker: Folie à Deux is the sequel to Joker, starring Joaquin Phoenix. However, the creators have yet to confirm that Lady Gaga will play the role of Harley Quinn, but leaked images from the set seem to confirm this. And now the pop star has shared her first look at the movie, and we can’t wait to see if this makeup nailed it.
Lady Gaga recently shared an Instagram post in which she can be seen dressed as Harley Quinn and in makeup. “That’s a wrap,” he captioned the post. Harleen’s X. Speculations now confirm that Lady Gaga will play the iconic role of Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à Deux.
Fans began congratulating Gaga on successfully completing the shoot and also expressed their excitement to see her as Harley Quinn. One fan wrote: “I am so proud of you! Earlier, some glimpses of the filming of Joker: Folie à Deux went viral. Lady Gaga was seen in the leaked photos wearing modified Harley Quinn makeup and costumes. Lady Gaga was seen kissing another girl in another leaked photo of the shooting outside the courtroom.
Joker: Folie à Deux will hit theaters on October 4, 2024. Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener have joined the cast of the sequel, with Zazie Beetz reprising her role as Sophie.
