WWE 2K23 DLC Teaser Appears To Include Bray Wyatt, Harley Race, Carlito And More

There are some obvious and some not-so-obvious teasers included in the busy image.

WWE 2K23It may still be a couple of weeks until release, but it looks like 2K has already started teasing its DLC. The studio posted a video a few days ago telling fans to keep their eyes peeled on March 1. As promised, an image was posted on Wednesday, the link to which confirmed it was created with the intention of showing which Superstars will be added to the roster. post-launch of the game.

I’m afraid I have bad news

This isn’t the first time 2K has done something like this, leaving fans to try and figure out who exactly has been teased in the picture. Some are more obvious than others in this latest offering, and The SmackDown Hotel has been collecting all the fans who have seen in the picture so far. The most obvious is the “Bad News Paper” message at the top, which suggests that Wade Barrett will be DLC.

Also present in the image is a Diamond Mine logo, the word Chase, presumably hinting at the addition of Andre Chase or perhaps his entire Chase U faction, and Nathan Frazer’s name can also be seen. Blair is also next to the word Chase, which could mean that Blair Davenport will be one of the many NXT stars planned for 2K23 DLC.

bray wyatt and harley race

Outside of NXT, the rabbit that dominates the right side of the image seems to hint that Bray Wyatt will eventually be added to the game. Re-signing with WWE too late to make the cut for release, it makes perfect sense for it to be added as DLC, as a star as big as Wyatt missing from the roster would make the game feel somewhat incomplete. Additional work for 2K who apparently told WWE it was too late to add Cody Rhodes when he signed on prior to the release of 2K22.

Other stars fans have seen in the teaser include Carlito, DDP, and Harley Race. The fact that Race is part of the roster would be a big deal since, to my knowledge, the former NWA Champion has never been in a wrestling game, WWE or otherwise. It’s also been a long time since Carlito last appeared in a WWE game, leaving the series in 2010 quite a few years before 2K took over.
